Our beach and carousel are nestled at the most southwestern point in all of Rhode Island.

Watch Hill Beach is a family friendly beach that is a summer destination for many people every year. We are located on a peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean with beautiful long stretches of sand and spectacular sunsets.

A Beautiful Beach and a Historic Carousel

Watch Hill Watch Hill Beach is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with your friends + family!

Included with your beach admission is the use of showers, restrooms and bathhouses. We also have daily rental of umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and stand up paddle boards. Lockers are available for daily, monthly and seasonal use.

Junior (age 13-17), $5
Children (age 3-12), $3

Mon-Fri, 10:00AM - 7:00PM
Sat, Sun, and Holidays: 9:00AM - 6:00PM

After Labor Day:
September 9 & 10, 9:00AM – 6:00PM
September 16 & 17, 9:00AM – 6:00PM

The gem of the Watch Hill Beach is the Flying Horse Carousel which arrived in Watch Hill in 1883 and is listed on the National Historic Register. Many families visit the carousel each year and it is the highlight for many children who visit Watch Hill Beach.
